So what are the possible reasons of pain in testicles? People may hold the view that the pain in testicles must be caused by problems on testicles. But this is not right. The pain in testicles can also starts in the groin, abdomen or somewhere else — for example, kidney stones and some hernias may cause testicle pain. The cause of testicle pain can't always be identified.
Here are the possible causes of pain in testicles:
Prostatitis is a condition that has infection or inflammation in the prostate gland. This condition can be classified into acute and chronic prostatitis two types. The pain in prostate gland is normal. But if the pain cannot be controlled effectively, it would radiate to testicles and bring pain to testicles.
2.orchitis
Orchitis is an inflammation of the testicles. It can be caused by either bacteria or a virus. When the testicles are inflamed, the tissues can be damaged by bacteria or virus. What’s more, the blood circulation can also be affected too. Therefore, the orchitis can bring pain in testicle too.
Epididymitis is inflammation of the epididymis, which is a tube located at the back of the testicles. When the epididymis which is located behind the testicles is inflamed, like the prostatitis, the pain in epididymis would spread to testicles and pain in testicles.
4.Kidney stones
Kidney stones, or renal calculi, are solid masses made of crystals. Kidney stones usually originate in your kidneys, but can develop anywhere along your urinary tract. The kidney stone can bring pressure to the urinary tract and pain in the testicles.
5.Mumps
Mumps is a contagious disease caused by a virus that passes from one person to another through saliva, nasal secretions, and close personal contact. The mumps can damage the testicles and lead pain to this organ.
The five mentioned causes are the most common reason of pain in testicles. Different causes needs different treatment. The first four types can be solved by antibiotics and Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill, as for the last type, the best treatment would be over-the-counter pain relievers, such as acetaminophen and ibuprofen.
