seminal vesiculitis is known as the Inflammation of the seminal vesicles. Seminal vesiculitis occurs after prostatitis commonly. But it can occur independently also. In order to prevent the progression of prostatitis into seminal vesiculitis, prompt treatment of prostatitis should be done. Acute and Chronic seminal vesiculitis are included in two types of seminal vesiculitis. With prostatitis, seminal vesiculitis occurs often. Hematospermia is the main symptom, such as red or coffee colored blood mixes with sperm.

•    Acute seminal vesiculitis can be resulted by factors which cause congestion of prostate or seminal vesicles, like prolonged pressure, damage to the perineum area, excessive sexual intercourse, suffering from cold and excessive alcohol intake.

Signs and symptoms of seminal vesiculitis
•    In the lower abdomen, perineum area and groin, pain is presented in acute seminal vesiculitis.
•    After ejaculation, pain can be worsen. In the perineum area and just above the upper pubis region, pain is presented in chronic seminal vesiculitis.
•    Aggravated by urination and defecation, in the rectal region there are heaviness and pain.
•    Burning urination, urgent urination and frequent urination as problems with urination.
•    If try to empty the bladder, it will be difficult.
•    Purulent and bloody emission which frequency is increased.
•    In urine and semen, there is blood.
•    Weakness which is generalized.
•    In case of acute seminal vesiculitis, there are fever and chills.

Treatment for Seminal Vesiculitis
•    For treating seminal vesiculitis, antibiotics are given.
•    In order to keep the bowel movements without any obstruction, patient should take rest.
•    Sexual abstinence should be practiced by patient.
•    A diet which is balanced and healthy needs to be taken by patients, also alcoholic beverages or spicy foods should be avoided.
•    By keeping yourself busy in some hobby and meditation, try to keep yourself relaxed and positive.
•    Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill.
