Pregnancy is the happiest thing for women, but there are various reasons that make some women unable to get pregnant, among which tubal obstruction is a common cause, and it is also the first thing women with tubal infertility must first treat. Before treatment, they must identify the causes and conditions for targeted treatment because there are many causes of tubal blockage, then they can achieve a good therapeutic effect.

Here comes the problem, can pelvic effusion cause tubal blockage? Today we are gonna talk about the relationship between pelvic effusion and tubal obstruction.

Pelvic effusion is most common in postpartum, it may also occur before pregnancy, it is related to postpartum hygiene and infection. There are two types of pelvic effusion, one is physiological pelvic effusion, the other is pathological pelvic effusion. The causes and treatments are both different.

1. Physiological pelvic effusion

The pelvic cavity is the lowest part of the abdominal cavity in the whole body. During menstruation or ovulation, some women will have pelvic effusion, it is the accumulation of a small amount of blood and discharge.

This kind of effusion also indicates that the fallopian tube is unobstructed, if the fallopian tube is blocked, the effusion will gather in the part of fallopian tube blockage, causing hydrosalpinx, pyosalpinx. Patients with physiological pelvic effusion generally do not need treatment and can recover by themselves.

2. Pathological pelvic effusion

Pathological pelvic effusion is related to pelvic inflammatory disease, adnexitis, endometriosis, and other diseases. Diseases lead to inflammatory secretion and form effusion, left untreated, the condition will aggravate. Sometimes, pelvic effusion can also be caused by tuberculosis in very few cases.

Physiological pelvic effusion generally does not need to be treated, but pathological pelvic effusion should be given enough attention, otherwise, it will cause serious harm. When women suffer from pathological pelvic effusion, if not treated in time, the damage can be great, it is easy to cause pelvic adhesion or fallopian tube blockage. In the severe condition, it will also cause infertility, so the etiology and condition of pelvic effusion must be identified to confirm whether it is pathological or physiological, if the effusion does not exceed 10 mm, it is normal.

Pelvic effusion treatment

1. General therapy

It means that patients should relive their anxieties about pelvic effusion and not be too nervous, which will aggravate the condition. They should enhance their confidence in treatment, keep a balanced diet, exercise regularly to enhance their resistance, keep a balance between work and rest.

2. TCM treatment

Natural medicine mainly includes the common Fuyan Pill, it has the effects of clearing away heat and dampness, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis. It consists of various natural herbs, such as Radix Paeoniae Rubra, banksia rose, Peach kernel, Honeysuckle, Angelica Sinensis, etc. Under the strict control of diet, about three months it can completely eliminate the inflammation which leads to pelvic effusion, thereby solving the problem of tubal blockage thoroughly.

3. Physiotherapy

Common physical therapy includes short wave, ultrashort wave, wax therapy, etc. Physical therapy can give a benign stimulation, promote local pelvic blood circulation, improve metabolism, and help the absorption and elimination of inflammation. If the condition is severe, surgical treatment can be considered.

Patients with pelvic effusion in addition to the above treatment, but also should pay great attention to personal hygiene, eat more nutritious food. Avoiding raw and cold, spicy, high fat and stimulating food, drinking more water, keeping an optimistic attitude towards life, and avoid tension and depression.
