Even causes of cystitis glandularis are not clear, but one cause of them is repeated infection of bladder mucosa, so the source of infection should be eliminated during the treatment. And other scholars think cystolith, bladder obstruction and even foreign object in the bladder are causes of cystitis glandularis, so calculus obstruction foreign object should be eliminated before the treatment of cystitis glandularis. If pathological biopsy verifies the existence of high-risk cancer or other complications, patients need to cut the whole bladder. In other words, treatments of cystitis glandularis are various, an whether the disease can be cured or not depends on a lot of things.

If clinical symptoms of cystitis glandularis are various and there is no specificity, then the treatment should depends on the symptoms.

Main clinical symptoms of cystitis glandularis are stimulation to urinary tract and bladder, such as repeated  and frequent urination, urgency, painful urination etc as symptoms of dysuria. If nidus spreads widely and infects a lot of organs, a patient feels pain in lower abdomen and swelling in perineum, microscopic hematuria or macroscopic hematuria etc. His life can be damaged by repeated symptoms directly, so a treatment should be chosen depends on his symptoms firstly if he wants to cure the disease.

For patients with serious stimulation in urinary tract, they can get some diuretic or  diuretic formula as treatments. Hemostatic drugs and formulas can be to patients who are bleeding heavily. If nidus has inflammatory changes in bladder neck, trigonum of bladder and around the opening of ureter which were known after cystourethroscopy, some anti-inflammatory drugs are needed like common antibiotics or Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill as a type of Chinese herb medicine which can clear away heat and toxic materials.

Etiologies should be eliminated during the treatment of cystitis glandularis.
Like written in the first paragraph, besides infection, causes of cystitis glandularis are obstruction in urethra and bladder, calculus, foreign object etc. So once a patient knows the cause, he must try to eliminate obstruction, calculus or foreign object immediately. When necessary, minimal invasive surgery through urethra is needed to eliminate obstruction, calculus or foreign object. For sure active anti-inflammatory treatments are needed before and after surgery to avoid repeated stimulation or inflammation.

Resection, radiotherapy and chemotherapy are needed for high-risk change of cystitis glandularis
If after treatments depend on symptoms or removing causes of the disease, high-risk pathological change is reminded by biopsy of cystoscope, a patient needs to cut his whole bladder, and in order to avoid transfer of malignant transformation, corresponding radiotherapy or chemotherapy is needed.

Generally speaking, after treatments mentioned above, cystitis glandularis can be cured. But in order to avoid repeated infection or cystitis glandularis, regular reexamination and active preventions are needed after being cured.
