 Hydrosalpinx is a condition that causes fluid to collect where the fallopian tube meets with the ovary. When this happens, a blockage of thefallopian tubeis created and infertility becomes a major factor. There are several causes of Hydrosalpinx, The primary cause of hydrosalpinx is Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, but abortion, use of intrauterine devices, prior infection, and scarred tissues from a prior surgery or even childbirth may also cause hydrosalpinx formation.
