Five symptoms to differentiate whether you have uterine fibroids

Mrs. Simpson narrated that her menses was always extended and with a large amount than before. At first, she took no notice of this, but with the longer period, she was aware of the odd. Then she went to the doctor and was told she had uterine fibroids. Women like Mrs.Simpson are innumerable. There is an increasing tendency of uterine fibroids these years. So, what are the symptoms of this disease?

Symptom 1:
Menstrual disorders. Menstrual cycle is normal but extended menstrual period and lager amount of menstrual occurs. What's more, symptoms can be different depend on different uterine fibroids types. For instance, a mass of menstrual is the typical symptom of leiomyoma uteri; menstrual extension and constant dripping wet is the symbolic symptoms of submucosal myoma. As to subserous myoma, symptoms of menstruation are not so visible.

Symptom 2:
Frequent urine, urinary urgency, constipation. When uterine fibroids is developing, pressure symptom can gradually emerges, which always brings about pressure symptoms as frequent urine, urinary urgency, constipation. If the uterine fibroids oppress bladder, symptoms of urinary tract infection diseases are come into being. If rectum is oppressed, constipation or no defecation with strong sense easily occurs. Besides, if the fibroid grows in one side, and affect sciatic nerve, patients can suffer from numbness and pain lower limb.

Symptom 3:
Vaginal secretions increases. Some patients who have uterine fibroids can confront with leukorrhagia after period, which is a symptom that can be easily puzzled with colpitis. When the uterine fibroids are small and few, other symptoms will not take on, but only with the symptom of increased leucorrhea.

Symptom 4:
abdominal pains. Torsion of pedunculated fibroid can give rise to abdominal pain. This pain is serious, which is impossible oppressive. Moreover, it can lead to acute abdomen rapidly. Hence, once abdominal pain occurs, especially in lower abdomen, pedunculated fibroid can be one of the possibilities for patient to presume.

Symptom 5:
Infertility in female. About 40 percent of infertility happens in patients who have uterine fibroids. Two cases can be considered. One is infertility caused directly by uterine fibroids. The other is embryo can not be implantation or miscarriage caused indirectly by uterine fibroids. Recurrent abortion is the symptom that may be found in some patients as well.

In addition, rare symptoms, such as hyperglycemia or hypoglycemia, hypertension, can be released after eliminating uterine fibroids. If those above symptoms appear, women should go to the doctor, especially for those women whose menstrual is disorderly. B sound can help to diagnose uterine fibroids. Sometimes uterine apoxesis and pathologic finding are necessary.
