Men's urinary system and genital system shares the same opening at the penis. As a result, pathogens, like chlamydia infects men's urethra before it infects other parts of the body. In the beginning, urinary discomfort are common symptoms. Chlamydia can then infect prostate gland or bladder. Then possibly infect epididymis, testis, and seminal vesicle.

Men with above disease may be suffering from necrospermia or azoospermia. The motility, PH, liquefaction and density of semen are all possible to be affected. Also chlamydia can attach on semen cells to effect their activity. Another important aspect is that chlamydia causes semen deformity. Survey found semen deformity rate on men with chlamydia infection can be as high as 80%.

As chlamydia can cause infertility in men by above factors, the infection should be treated promptly once tested. Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill has its unique function in treating chlamydia infection. Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill can promote blood circulation and dissolve stasis, can promote Qi and stop pain, can kill bacteria, virus, mycoplasma and chlamydia, and can clear away heat and dampness. By these means chlamydia infection can be completely treated by three months medication.

Treatment of chlamydia infection must be persistent till completely treated, it is not suggested to stop taking the pills once symptoms are gone. If symptoms are gone for a while and then reappear soon, the recurrence means previous infection hasn't been completely cleared up yet. If it recurs after tested for negative result, then it must be a reinfection. So the prevention after treatment is as important as the treatment.
