Atypical hyperplasia of endometrium is similar with adenomatoid hyperplasia. That is to say, the glands are crowded presenting as a kind of hyperplasia of irregular, ramal and germinative shape. At the same time, there are some other changes existed, such as distinctly decreasing of mesenchyma, atypia of epithelial cells, big and distinct nucleus, coarse chromatin and lack of polarity of stratified epithelium. Moreover, the image of nuclear division is familiar. Sometimes, it is hard to identify the atypical hyperplasia of endometrium and well differentiated adenocarcinoma. The key point is that under the condition of atypical hyperplasia of endometrium, the infiltration of mesenchyma does not exist. In fact, somebody think that atypical hyperplasia of endometrium is the precancerous change of adenocarcinoma of endometrium.
Actually, hyperplasia endometrii could happen in any phase of life (adolescence, generative phase, menopause and postmenopause). The endometrium is the inner membrane of the mammalian uterus. The endometrium will develop during childhood and have seasonal changes during menstrual period. Furthermore, the defulvium of endometrium would form menstrual flow. Generally speaking, there is an ovulation in every menstrual period, and the next menstrual flow will come if female does not conceive. In fact, menstrual period is also adjusted by ovarian hormone. Then the disorder of ovarian hormone will cause the disorder of menstrual flow which will make changes of endometrium—distinct incrassation.
From the clinical observation, the patient who has got hyperplasia endometrii would have some complications, such as, pelvic inflammation and pelvic cavity hydrocele. That is to say, the stimulation of inflammation is the key reason leading to hyperplasia endometrii. Actually, clinical manifestation is the abnormal massive bleeding of uterus. The patient may bleed continuously after the long period of amenorrhea. In the same way, the clinical manifestation can also perform as the type of curtate cycle or extended menstrual period. What`s worse, the bleeding time could up to one month. Seriously speaking, the hemorrhagic shock would happen.
