    sufferer: guest gender: female
    age: 18 marriage: no
    Begining date: 23/08/2014
Disease detail: On cilest pill. Vomited during use because of alcohol consumption around 3 weeks ago so near start of strip. Had unprotected sex since then many times. Last time was three days before my cilest strip finished but few hours after sex I started bleeding which is still continuing now (five days after) and I think it may be my period. Not sure how I started when I still had three pills to go which I did take. Vagina is also very sore and quite itchy if I touch it. No pain whilst urination or excretion. Person I has sex with is the only person I've been with. Bleeding stopped after 10 days but after hot shower feel as if outer labia have sagged and are swollen. Not sore to touch just tender. Normal discharge.
medical history: No medical history concerning vagina
previous diagnosis and result: No diagnosis yet
    accessory examination: No examination

  • Hi, after reading your information, you are unlikely to get a STD. For women, vaginal bleeding during/ after sex is usually small in quantity and only in few cases can hematorrhea occur. For your conditions, as you think it is your period, then is your period normal before? If yes, then this can be your menstruation. However, if not, the bleeding can be caused by the damage to the cervix or uterus. Vaginal bleeding is not a problem that can be neglected, I advise you to get diagnosed in a hospital and then receive corresponding treatment. And for the soreness and itching, I advise you to wash the vagina with warm water every day and keep the vagina clean.

And for taking Cliest, here are some tips for you:
Once you have started to take Cilest, you should take it once a day for 21 days. After this you should not take any more tablets for the next seven days. Start a new strip of Cilest immediately after the seven day tablet-free break. During this break you will usually have a withdrawal bleed. If you do not have a withdrawal bleed during the tablet-free break and you have taken all your pills properly, you are very unlikely to be pregnant. However, if you have not taken your tablets properly and you miss a withdrawal bleed or if you miss two withdrawal bleeds in a row you should immediately contact your prescriber or family planning nurse. This is because there is a possibility that you could be pregnant and you must not take Cilest during pregnancy.
